Ladies & Gentlemen, and all distinguished Zoolzooers, presenting the first of many designers from the Zoolzoo community, Heidi. To celebrate April Fools’ Day (joking lah), we will be giving away exclusive POSTCARD specially designed by Heidi herself, with every purchase of Heidi Doll products (not joking this time), while stocks last. Without further ado, let’s uncover the inspiration and idea behind the Heidi Doll story.
Heidi Doll, a cute bunny named after Heidi and wearing a solemn expression, was first conceived during a personal dismal period back in Dec 2004, in a bid for self-motivation and for those around her. Equipped with only a wooden box full of bunnies, Heidi took to the streets and became a regular feature outside Eslite bookstore @ Dunnan, as well as participating in other flea market events in the hope to spread the cheers all round. Constructive feedback and regular customer interaction further inspired Heidi in designing an expanded range of products and accessories, and Heidi Dolls have since been under the media spotlight regularly, most notably in a joint-marketing collaboration with a popular departmental store in 2005.
A year on, Heidi Dolls took to the shelves of major departmental stores, making further inroads and taking the retail scenes by storm. In 2007, Heidi launched her then publication to wide acclaims and having two separate book launching events at Eslite to her name, a feat which endeared her to a great many supporters, through her sharing of personal experience in making Heidi Dolls a runway success.
Heidi Dolls sought to bring warmth and happiness to the masses and backed by the positive market response and her personal beliefs, Heidi strives to bring even more joy and creativity for the good of all.
